• Search for products – fruits, vegetables, grains, dairy, eggs, meats – from California farmers and ranchers
• Customize your search so it fits your needs. Does your school district require a certain amount of liability insurance? Do you want to buy from producers only within a specified distance from your school? Do you require specific food safety certifications? Customize your search so you only see results that meet your needs!
• Not looking for a specific product but just want to connect with farmers and ranchers in your area? Search for producers in your area and see what they grow!

• Once you’ve completed your search, use the easy “compare” feature to determine which producers you want to contact.
• The compare function will show you which producers have the product you’re looking for – then you can compare them on price, location, delivery method and more.
• If you are a school district doing an informal procurement, print out the 3+ producers to serve as your informal bid!

• Now that you’ve found a product that meets your specifications, you can send inquires to the producers who carry it!
• Your inquiry can initiate an order or ask more questions if you have them.
• Farmers will receive an email from you and respond!

List some information about what products you grow, as well as some information about yourself – location, food safety certifications, etc. – so schools can search for your products.
